Holiday Sleigh Rides at Walt Disney World Opening December 1!

Source: Disney

It’s almost the most wonderful time of the year! Already we are seeing the festive Christmas decor at the Disney Parks and soon we will be singing carols and seeing all the characters in their festive costumes as well. We have so many different things to look forward to that makes spending the holidays in the parks so wonderful, and now one more thing has been added to the list. Starting December 1 you can take a magical holiday “sleigh” ride at Walt Disney World!

Over at Fort Wilderness Resort (can you think of a more perfect place?!), you will be able to take in the magic of the holidays with a cozy “sleigh” ride through secluded woodland beauty. The sleighs will be decorated with lights and garland and the experience will get you in the spirit of the season as you travel along scenic trails. The ride lasts 25-minutes at the new Tri-Circle-D Ranch Barn near the Settlement Bus Depot at The Cabins and Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. The carriages fit up to 4 adults, or 2 adults and 3 small children. Each horse-drawn holiday sleigh ride costs $75.

I can’t think if anything more special than sipping on a steaming cup of hot cocoa, bundling up, taking in the holiday decor, and hearing the clip-clop of the horses along with sleigh bells and Christmas carols. This is the perfect mini-excursion for families, friends, and those who want a special date night this holiday season. It’s sure to get everyone in your party into the holiday spirit and also make some really special memories!
