Holiday Treats for Every Diet at Walt Disney World

0

It’s that time of year at Walt Disney World Resort where the sweet scent of freshly made gingerbread can be noticed through the lobbies of Disney Deluxe resorts and in every bakery on property. In past years, this meant the traditional gingerbread recipe was sold at locations donning beautiful gingerbread decorations as a one-size-(does not)-fit all option. Those of us who follow modified diets had to pass up the taste and simply imagine the flavors based off the scent-misted air we inhaled. This year, we are seeing everything from vegan, to gluten-friendly, to no-sugar-added options, meaning many more of us can take part in the traditional tastings in parks, resorts and shops! Check out our list below so you know where to find the holiday treat that’s right for you while visiting Walt Disney World this holiday season!

Hollywood Studios

While you’ll find specials on the  “Holidays at Hollywood Studios” menus at select restaurants (ABC Commissary, Backlot Express, Catalina Eddie’s, Fairfax Fare, Rosie’s All-American Cafe, Woody’s Lunch Box, and the Jingle Bell Jingle BAM! Dessert Party) you won’t find much for guests with special diets. However, the standard allergy-friendly and plant-based menus, as well as regular no-added-sugar options, will still be available for those in your party needing special dietary modifications. We look forward to see what, if any, expansions to these menus are made for next holiday season!

Snowy Mount Everest at Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom

Similar to Hollywood Studios, you’ll find allergy-friendly, plant -based and no sugar added options on the park’s standard menus with very few special Holiday offerings overall.
