Attention, D23 members! Due to a glitch in the Grid, D23 Derezzed – A Tron 40th Dance Party is moving to Friday, July 22 (7:30–11 p.m.)! It’s a new night, but it will be the same great party. As a bonus, all attendees will receive one beer or wine drink voucher to kick off the weekend and “alter the mood!”
Users of all levels are invited to celebrate 40 years of Tron at an epic dance party with D23: The Official Disney Fan Club. Fans from across the Grid will be gathering that same weekend for San Diego Comic-Con, so D23 is commencing an upload to House of Blues San Diego for a “party of the programs.” D23 is asking users who plan to enter the Grid to dress up, which is totally awesome because the Tron costumes are really cool! Identity Discs, Light Suits, and Coded Circuitry Ensembles are highly encouraged. Until then, plan to update those identity discs and power up the Lightcycles for a night unlike any other!
A Tron Dance Party sounds like the ultimate party, and the DJs and the vibes are bound to be awesome! At this party, you can dance until you “Derezz” and go to the end of the line in a night within the digital world. D23 has shared that “programs in attendance will thrill to the electronic beats of DJ sets from Jason Bentley, music supervisor of Tron: Legacy, and KCRW host and musical Director—and one of the hottest global names in electronic music—Qrion, along with some surprises specially coded for pure enjoyment.”
The D23 Gold Member ticket price is $45, and the D23 General Member ticket price is$65. All tickets have a $7 processing fee.
