How to get COVID Tests Near Disney World

Those planning a vacation in the coming months, you may have added a new part to your planning process, “COVID Testing.” 


We already touched on the required COVID tests for entering the country last week. What about once you are here in Florida? Currently, there are several states that require proof of a negative COVID-19 test after travel or a mandatory quarantine.

If you are traveling to and from Walt Disney World and require a COVID test, there are some different options available in close proximity to Walt Disney World

Note: These locations are subject to time and availability changes. Some states have a time requirement for when a test needs to be administered.

Here is a list of locations you may get a Covid Test close to Disney World.


The Maingate Testing Site
Open 8AM to 4PM daily. Disney Maingate Complex, 3010 Maingate Lane, Kissimmee.
Testing is free and available for residents and travelers ages 2 and up.

Note: Walk-up only, does not accept appointments.

They offer rapid testing, with results available through email or text in about 15 minutes. PCR testing is available with results in 3-5 business days.


The Orlando International Airport

Thursdays -Mondays 7:30AM to 3:00PM. By pre-security on the airport’s third level.

Testing is available for travelers, airport employees, and the community.

Note: The cost of this test is $65 per person and must be paid on-site. Testing is available now through end of July 2021.


The AdventHealth locations

AdventHealth: Lake Buena Vista, at 12500 S Apopka Vineland Rd.

AdventHealth Centra Care: 8201 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, Kissimmee.

Note: Appointments are required at both locations and can be booked online. Both locations do not offer free testing. Insurance is accepted; check with your Health Insurance Provider prior to your visit.

Locations offer PCR and rapid testing. Rapid test results available in about 15 minutes. PCR test available within 2 to 3 days.


Orange County Convention Center

9AM to 5PM Daily-5980 Destination Pkwy Orlando, FL 32819.

Available for all residents and visitors any age, no symptoms are required.

Note: You can register online ahead of time to cut down on wait time. This is a FREE testing site.

Rapid tests with results in about 15 minutes. PCR testing is also available with results in 2-3 days.
