Back in January we reported that the Enchanted sequel, Disenchanted, is slowly but surely coming together. Amy Adams will be returning to play Gisele and Patrick Dempsey will be returning to play Robert Philip. We are now excited to report that both Idina Menzel and James Marsden will also be returning for the sequel to play their original characters, Nancy Tremaine and Prince Edward!

Ten years after her happily ever after, Giselle questions her happiness, inadvertently turning the lives of those in the real world and Andalasia upside down in the process.
Alan Menken composed the music for the first Enchanted film, and he is currently working on the music for the sequel, Disenchanted. We can expect the film to be both live action with some animation thrown in just like the first film. We can also expect a lot more catchy music in the sequel. Director Adam Shankman has already stated, “There’s a lot more songs this time than there were in the original, at least in the planning phase right now.”
The film will be a Disney+ exclusive and there is still no official release date.
