Bee-Doo, Bee-Doo! Alert the media, Bake My Day is the new place to see at Universal Studios theme park in Orlando! In the Summer of 2023, Universal Orlando opened their new Minions Land which not only includes this cute, instagrammable pink bakery, but a new attraction, Freeze Ray ice pop stand, as well as a restaurant and stores! The new area is absolutely adorable and SO well done; the little minions literally hanging around everywhere! I got the chance to pop into the “Bake My Day” bakery this past week and oh my goodness, it did not disappoint!
There was SO much fun merchandise featuring all the characters we know and love from the Despicable Me movies, including the infamous fluffy unicorn! Aside from the fresh walk-up bakery counter, guests can also purchase prepackaged candy like gummies, lollipops, and cotton candy!
I visited the bakery in the afternoon, and by then some of the popular flavors of cake pops (pictured above) were already sold out! Be sure to stop in towards the beginning of the day if there is something in particular you’d like to try! I will be going back next month to hopefully try the PBJ cake pop before it sells out! Cake pops are sold cold, and they’re REALLY big! I could hardly finish mine! Check out a little tour of the bakery in our TikTok video below!
