In my last article, I offered my Disney Mom perspective and advice on Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween (You can read that article by clicking here, https://thekingdominsider.com/a-disney-moms-guide-to-mickeys-not-so-scary/). The sole purpose of this article is to provide you with the facts of dates and times, Trick or Treating locations, Character Meet & Greets, and the attractions that will remain open during this extra-ticketed event.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2019 Dates:
August 16, 20, 23, 27, 30
September 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, 29
October 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31
The event starts at 7:00 PM, but guests are permitted to enter the park beginning at 4:00 PM.
I’m often asked when the least crowded times are or when are good days to attend. Aside from the first few nights of the party, which begins August 16th, any dates in August and September will be less busier than October.
The actual Halloween holiday is always the busiest. I’ve been there during Columbus Day Weekend in October too, and that’s a busy weekend since most have off from school for the Columbus holiday.
Tickets start at $79. Your park ticket is not valid for the Halloween party, however, you don’t need a Magic Kingdom park ticket to attend the event. All you need is the Not So Scary Halloween Party ticket to enter. Tickets also vary by price depending on the night your choose to attend.

Rides Available During Party:
One of the major perks of ticketed events such as Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is the shorter lines for some of your favorite attractions. Sometimes, we’ve done more rides at the Halloween party than we had done in the park for an entire day! Some rides also have spook-tastic enhancements, including Pirates of the Caribbean, Mad Tea Party, Space Mountain and new this year, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. A crew of live pirates takes over your journey on Pirates of the Caribbean. Meanwhile, Mad Tea Party gets special lighting and music, while Space Mountain will go completely dark. Over at the Laugh Floor in the Monster World, the comedic monsters learn more about the Human World holiday called Halloween.
