Disney has unveiled a new handheld device that will help guests speak Na’vi, the native language of Pandora. The device uses cards to help translate Na’vi words into English, and lights up at night. The “Na’vi Translator” will come packaged with 15 starter cards. Several card packs will be available and will be color coded for Nouns, Adjectives, Places and more.
Will Na’vi card collecting become the new Disney Pin Trading?
The rumor is that cast members working in Pandora will actually learn the Na’vi language to interact with guests, and this card reader may factor into that experience.
The Na’vi Translator and additional card packs will be available at Windtraders in Pandora – The World of Avatar beginning on May 27, 2017.
