There’s been some debate as to whether or not Letitia Wright’s Shuri (sister of the Black Panther) had been “snapped” by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.
Well, wonder no more. New posters for Avengers: Endgame show us exactly which characters are still alive and which have been snapped. And Shuri is most definitely among the “snapped.”
The new #AvengersEndgame posters confirm at least one #InfinityWar casualty for the first time: @letitiawright's Shuri gets a black and white poster, meaning that, although it happened off-screen, she was killed as part of the Snapture https://t.co/SlGFbdVM7j pic.twitter.com/Ttlz2OXwn8

The color of the newly released posters indicate whether or not characters have survived.
From The Hollywood Reporter…
Each of the posters spotlights one of the MCU’s heroes — including some unexpected choices; Jon Favreau’s Happy Hogan gets one, as does Tom Hiddleston’s Loki — in a portrait with each hero looking off camera, with a simple color code: Those active during the time of Endgame’s opening, i.e., those who survived Thanos’ Snap, are in full color, while those turned to dust are black and white.
As part of this, at least one casualty was confirmed for the first time: Shuri gets a black-and-white poster, meaning that, although it happened offscreen, she was killed as part of the Snapture. Sorry, everyone who hoped she would secretly be the new Black Panther.
Here’s a better look at which Marvel heroes are left standing.
And here are those who will have been turned to dust at the beginning of Avengers: Endgame…
Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26, 2019.
