Disney and Brightline Train finally reach an agreement for the line to have a station in Disney Springs.
While the exact location is yet to be determined and a timeline has also not been released, this is still exciting news by offering another way to get to Disney. Currently an expansion of the line is being built at the West Palm Beach Airport. Once that is completed, the line will continue to expand north before heading west.
Brightline’s president Patrick Goddard stated, “Brightline will offer a car-free connection to the millions of visitors from around the state and the world who plan to make Walt Disney World Resort part of their vacation plans. Our mission has always been to connect our guests to the people and places that matter, and Walt Disney World Resort is a tremendous example of this.”
So far the plans show the Disney station including a ground-level lobby, passenger facilities, and an upper-level train platform.
What do you think about the new station in Disney Springs? Does this add West Palm Beach as a potential alternate airport to fly into?
