Exciting news for Paradis Pier Hotels guests in Anaheim! Disney recently announced that guests of the Paradise Pier Hotel would be getting their own access to Disney California Adventure, but we didn’t expect it to happen so soon. This hotel is currently undergoing a transformation as it hasn’t had an update since it first opened back in 1984. The hotel’s transformation will weave the artistry of Pixar into its comfortable, contemporary setting. Disney explains, “Guests will gain a new perspective on some of their favorite Pixar worlds and characters through carefully curated artwork and décor that reveals the creative journey of the artists who helped bring these stories to life.” Guests can look forward to being welcomed into whimsical character moments, like the iconic, playful Pixar Lamp balancing atop its ball in the lobby.
While all of this is super exciting, the transformation won’t be done for some time, and the new access to the theme park has already opened! To access Disney California Adventure, guests can cross Disneyland Drive towards the entrance of Disney’s Grand California Hotel & Spa. The entrance will then be located next to the security and parking booth at the entrance of the Grand Californian. This entrance will lead into the theme parks between Seaside Souvenirs and Corn Dog Castle. If you plan on being a guest at this hotel, you will no longer have to walk through Downtown Disney to get to the park!
