I previously shared what I could find on the upcoming new Tiana and Madame Leoto Disney Dooney and Bourke prints coming in July.
Today the Disney Parks Blog released more information and new photos of the upcoming pieces.
There will be a release party held at the Market Place Co-op in Disney Springs on July 22. The two new collections will be released and Ian Ray, the Creative Director, for Dooney and Bourke will be there to greet guests from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
The lovely new bags were designed by Paola Gutierrez, Senior Graphic Designer with Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media Creative Group.
The Merchandise Product Developer for Accessories, Angelique Vu, had this to say about the new Tiana line.
I love the Princess Tiana tote! This is the second release in our ‘Dream Big, Princess’ collection which followed the ‘Beauty and the Beast’-inspired collection from earlier this year. The new tote contains a beautiful engineered design meaning the Princess Tiana image will appear the same on all totes we release. Guests will also find a repeating pattern on the top and bottom of the tote, and a specially designed leather hangtag.
In the princess Tiana design there will be a Tote, a Crossbody, and a Fold Over Crossbody available.
Also designed my Paola Gutierrez, are the new Haunted Mansion Madame Leota bags.
There will be a Shopper, Lettercarrier and Wristlet available in the new purple design.
The Madame Leota image will also appear on a limited release MagicBand. I’m not sure how much it will be but last time they were around $48
The new purses will be available at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Shoppers should be able to find the pieces at other locations inside the parks, as well as on the Shop Disney Parks App and the DisneyStore.com
I love them both, but I really want the Madame Leota Shopper or Lettercarrier and I definitely want the MagicBand!
