We have some epic news to share! Next year, in 2024, Universal Orlando Resort will debut an all-new themed land inspired by DreamWorks Animations’ beloved collection of animated characters! That’s right, we’re going to get an all-new land themed around some beloved Universal characters such as Shrek, Trolls, Kung Fu Panda, and more! Guests will even be able to enjoy special meet-n-greets with these and other characters like Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse.
The company said in a press release:
“They will share special moments with their favorite characters like Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse and explore themed, interactive play spaces and attractions that bring popular franchises like Shrek, Trolls, and Kung Fu Panda to life in the most imaginatively fun ways.”
The new land is currently being developed in the former KidZone location (which closed earlier this year) of Universal Studios Orlando. This is part of Universal’s commitment to rich storytelling and we could not be more excited for this new land. We will continue to provide nmore details as they are released!
