This Friday, August 25, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party returns to the Magic Kingdom. This year there will be an exclusive, Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom game card featuring the Country Bears.
Chosen for their “party feel” Imagineer Jonathan Ackley describes why the bears were chosen for the exclusive card.
“What better way to help celebrate a party than with a performance by the world’s favorite ursine band? And on Halloween, anything scary will have no choice but to flee before the happy music of the Country Bears!”
If you are unfamiliar with the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, it’s an interactive, in-park event, that allows guests to join Merlin to try and stop the Disney villains from taking over the Magic Kingdom. You sign up at the Firehouse on Main Street, USA. There you are given a map and spell cards that take you around the Magic Kingdom to complete quests. The special edition Country Bears card can be obtained at the Firehouse. You must register to play with your party tickets and event wrist band to get a card.
