WALT DISNEY WORLD (Orlando, Florida) — The Force is stronger than ever in the Marketplace in Disney Springs. The new Star Wars Trading Post has officially opened, and it’s stocked with a ton of (what else) Star Wars merchandise.
We first reported on the change a few weeks ago, as Fun Finds made way for this new Star Wars themed gift shop.
Looking at the photos on WDW Magic and Blog Mickey, it doesn’t appear that any major redesign work or theming was done to the shop. It looks as if the merchandise was simply swapped out for Star Wars and a new sign was thrown up. The merchandise looks identical to what is currently available in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, including the “Build Your Own Lightsaber” and “Droid Factory” stations.
Still, if you’re looking for a Star Wars fix without venturing into the parks, this is the place to be.
