Oogie Boogie Bash tickets just went on sale, and there are quite a few dates that are already sold out if you can believe it, and we are just starting July! With Disney’s new #halfwaytohalloween celebrations they kicked off just a few ago, many Disney fans are already looking forward to the Halloween and holiday season at the parks. It’s understandable as the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the Anaheim theme parks for over a year, and celebrating the holidays the past few years has looked a bit different than usual. Last year, face masks were required, and it was just a few months ago that the face mask mandate got lifted completely, and guests no longer had to even wear them indoors or on enclosed transportation. Now that things are fairly back to normal, guests are already ready for a spooky good time!
Tickets to Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure went on pre-sale to Magic Key holders this past Tuesday and Wednesday and went on sale to the general public yesterday. Once they went on sale to the general public, Disney made a very ominous announcement that there would be two new villains joining the Halloween bash this year. They did say exactly who the villains were, but they left enough hints for us to make a really good guess. Check out their social media announcement below!
Who do you think the new villains are? Based on the dying flower and the three blown-out candlesticks, I guess it’s Mother Gothel from “Rapunzel” and the Sanderson sisters from “Hocus Pocus.” I personally feel like “Rapunzel” never gets enough credit in the parks, so the addition of Mother Gothel would be epic. The Sanderson sisters would also be a hilarious addition and appropriate considering “Hocus Pocus 2” will premiere on Disney+ on September 30.
