UPDATE: We now know more details about the passing of guest at Disney World.
Below is an update by the Orange County Sheriffs Office VIA Orlando Sentinel;
“Robert Ostrem (66) of West Islip, N.Y., was pronounced dead Saturday at AdventHealth Celebration Hospital after authorities responded to a call at about 8:30 p.m. near Spaceship Earth toward the front of the park, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and the Medical Examiner’s Office that covers Orange and Osceola counties. . .Ostrem died of natural causes stemming from heart problems, the medical examiner’s office said.”

A Guest Passed Away During a Visit To Walt Disney World Saturday Night
A call was made at approximately 8:30pm to first responders regarding a medical situation at EPCOT nearby Spaceship Earth. When they arrived to the scene, they promptly took the guest to AdventHealth Celebration Hospital. The guest was then later pronounced dead. The Sheriff’s office commented that no foul play was suspected.
While no more details have been released, we expect Disney to make some sort of statement soon regarding the matter. For the time being, all questions and comments have been directed to Orange County Sheriff’s Office and no new information since this morning was made public.
