When Pandora – The World of Avatar opens in Disney World’s Animal Kingdom on May 27, 2017, it’ll debut with two new rides. The first is Flight of Passage, which was showcased (without footage) in a TV commercial. The second is the Na’vi River Journey, which is a dark boat ride into the jungles of Pandora. However, a new teaser trailer has revealed a quick glimpse at the interior of the highly-anticipated attraction.
It’s nothing earth-shattering, but I’m getting the vibe we can expect a sci-fi version of Epcot’s Living with the Land with some highly lifelike Na’vi animatronics.
We’ll have to wait for an upcoming media event to learn more, but “Avatarland” is looking pretty exciting and is a much-needed expansion of Animal Kingdom, which has more or less gone neglected for many years.
Stay tuned to The Kingdom Insider for more news on Pandora – The World of Avatar as it becomes available.
