If you want the original Redhead, you may want to catch a ride on Walt Disney World’s Pirates of the Caribbean before February 26th. That’s when Disney will be dry docking the attraction to add the controversial new auction scene.
Disney has posted the hours of operation through February 25, and it seems to be reopening on March 19.
While Pirates of the Caribbean has had several updates over the years, the modernization of the “Wench Auction” scene was met with severe backlash online when it was first announced last year.
The revised scene, where the Redhead oversees a “loot auction”, premiered in Disneyland Paris last summer. You can see the new scene for yourself below.
