Reminder! Smoking/Vaping Ban and More Go Into Effect at Disney Parks 5/1

Just a reminder to those of you heading to the parks tomorrow, May 1, and on, Smoking (including Vaping) will be banned from inside the U.S. Disney parks, Water Parks, Downtown Disney District and ESPN Wide World of Sports. We covered it back in March HERE.

There will be designated areas outside of the parks for smoking/vaping. This will be enforced.

Other changes include:

  1. No Stroller Wagons.
  2. Strollers must be no larger than 31″ (79cm) wide and 52″ (132cm) long or smaller. Most fit within this guideline though.
  3. No loose or dry ice permitted anymore. Coolers are still allowed but you can not use loose or dry ice, but reusable ice packs are allowed.

(Disney seems to be making the changes to the ice as a way to speed up bag check and entry into the park.)

If you would like to see the park rules you can view them HERE.

Try to follow the new rules to save time and aggravation for yourself and others. We want you all to have a magical time at the Disney parks!
