Halloween has officially taken over Disneyland Resort, and that means it’s time for one of our favorite parts of the season: Halloween food! Disneyland and Disney California Adventure have once again filled their menus with Halloween-inspired treats, snacks, desserts, and beverages, and there is a LOT to choose from. Some are returning favorites, some are brand-new creations, and some are so over-the-top that they practically demand a taste test. With dozens of Halloween offerings scattered throughout both parks, you probably don’t want to spend your vacation buying everything just to figure out what’s actually worth trying.
I’m making my way through the 2026 Halloween food and beverage lineup at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure to find out what deserves a spot on your must-try list, what lives up to the hype, and what you can comfortably skip. I’ll be sharing my honest thoughts on the flavors, portions, presentation, and, most importantly, whether I think each item is worth spending your vacation dollars on.
So, let’s dig into the 2026 Halloween food at Disneyland Resort and find out which spooky-season eats are truly worth making room for.
Disneyland
Rest In Chocolate (Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor)
Chocolate Ice Cream buried in a Chocolate-covered Waffle Cup topped with Chocolate Cookie Crumbles, Gummy Worms and a Chocolate Tombstone

For this sinfully delicious dessert, you get two scoops of flavors of your choice. I chose Rocky Road. The ice cream itself was pretty tasty (especially on a hot summer/fall day!), but the Oreo and gummy worms definitely elevated this dessert! It is pretty massive, and two people can easily share it. The chocolate-covered waffle cup dusted with Oreo also really makes this dessert great, especially considering the price! 10/10 rating
Villainous Red Velvet Cake (Plaza Inn)
with Raspberry Jam, Chocolate Chips, and Black Ganache Frosting

This is the second-best cake I have ever had at Plaza Inn (the Pineapple Cake still takes first place!). I’m not even a huge red velvet cake fan, and this one really blew me away. The raspberry jam mixed into the ganache frosting is just so delicious, and the chocolate chips in the middle really add great texture and a little extra something to this. It was pretty sweet, but it wasn’t over the top to where I couldn’t finish it. 9/10 rating
Pumpkin Cream Sweet Tea
Sweet Tea with Pumpkin Cream Foam Topping

This is probably the best seasonal Halloween drink I’ve ever had at Disneyland. It’s a very refreshing iced tea with just a hint of pumpkin flavor. I love that the pumpkin doesn’t completely overpower the drink. It’s very refreshing on a hot summer/fall day. I already can’t wait to go back and try this again! 10/10 rating.
Churro Hand Tart (Market House)
Pastry Tart filled with Spiced Cake and topped with Cinnamon and Sugar
This is a really tasty treat that reminded me of a gourmet brown sugar Pop-Tart. Market House (aka Starbucks) serves this warm, and it’s a pretty decent size! I didn’t find it to be anything super special, but it will scratch the sugar craving, and it’s definitely a warm comfort treat! 8/10 rating.
Iced Pandan Cooler (Bengal BBQ)
with Brown Sugar Popping Spheres and Ube Cream

I paired this drink with a skewer and Naan bread, and I wasn’t a huge fan of the combo. This drink is tasty, but it’s on the heavier side and pretty darn sweet (hence why I wouldn’t pair it with skewers or any other entree). This is more of a tasty treat drink on its own. 8/10 rating.
DOLE Whip Cone (Tiki Juice Bar)
Pineapple DOLE Whip in a Sugar Cone, topped with Halloween Sprinkles

This is also a fun and festive treat to enjoy on a hot day! I love a good DOLE Whip, and enjoying it in a sugar cone with some crunchy, fun, festive sprinkles?! Genius! 10/10 rating.
Stellar Spicy Chicken Sandwich (Galactic Grill)
Panko-crusted Chicken Breast, Ghost Pepper Salsa Verde, Pepper Jack, Pico de Gallo, Cilantro Lime Slaw and Crispy Onions, served on a Toasted Bun with your choice of a Cuties® Mandarin Orange or Fries

I’m just going to start off by saying this is probably the spiciest chicken sandwich I have ever eaten! I have a pretty high tolerance for spice (and I love it!), and I was having a hard time with this one. It is pretty tasty, and I love that the crispy onions and slaw give it an extra crunch. If you love spice and can handle it, this is definitely a fun try! If you are sensitive at all to spice, just stay away (LOL)! 7.5/10 rating.
Disney California Adventure
Oktoberfest Dog (Award Weiners)
Pork Cheddar Sausage, Sauerkraut, Caraway Seeds, and Cheesy Beer Mustard Sauce on a Soft Pretzel Bun with Cuties® Mandarin Oranges or Fries

I was really looking forward to this one because I do love a good sausage with Sauerkraut; however, I was a bit disappointed. The cheese-beer mustard sauce was pretty heavy and completely overpowered the sauerkraut. I found myself trying to get some of the sauce off. It was also a tad on the salty side. 6/10 rating.
Chilaquiles Carnitas Torta (Paradise Garden Grill)
Red Chilaquiles, Refried Beans, Avocado Spread, Queso Fresco, Pickled Red Onions, and a Fried Egg, served with Chips

Paradise Garden Grill never disappoints! If you don’t already know, this is a quick-service spot in the park with some of the best Mexican food, no matter what time of year you visit. They tend to change their menu around a lot seasonally.
This torta was absolutely massive and jam-packed with goodies, making it shareable. The bread is so soft, and all the ingredients are super fresh. The carnitas were a tad on the salty side, but I think that’s pretty normal for that type of meat. The pickled onion provided great texture, and the fried egg added great flavor. I also love that they put the refried beans on the bottom and the avocado spread on the top, so you get the two flavors almost separately. Definitely loved this one! Be sure to grab a fork for this one, though, because it falls apart easily, and it is MESSY! 9/10 rating.
Fluffernuffer Churro (Churro Cart near Redwood Creek Challenge)
a classic warm churro topped with peanut butter sauce, marshmallow sauce, and chocolate chips

This churro keeps coming back for a reason. You just really can’t go wrong with chocolate, peanut butter, and marshmallow. 10/10 rating.
Keep checking back here, as I’ll keep adding reviews as I try more delicious items this Halloween season!
