It’s the most festive time of year at the Disney Parks, and of course, one of my favorite parts about this time of the year is the food and treats! Disneyland always has so many things to try, and it’s somewhat of a bummer that there are so many options because I just can’t try them all. During my recent trips, I have had the opportunity to try a handful of treat items, and I wanted to share my reviews so that next time you’re at the park, you know what you can skip and what is a must-try!
Plaza Inn
Gingerbread Bundt Cake ($5.99): To start off, this is quite possibly the best treat I tried this holiday season at Disneyland! The gingerbread isn’t overly strong, but for those who want to get their gingerbread fix in for the holidays, this will do it! The cake is extremely moist (yes, I cringe at this word too, but it really is!), and the amount of icing doesn’t overpower; this cake is just sheer perfection, chef’s kiss, and I highly recommend grabbing one of these before the holiday season ends!
Holiday Cake ($6.99): I was REALLY excited about this cake as I am a chocolate lover, but surprisingly I was more of a fan of the Gingerbread Bundt cake. There was too much icing in this one for my taste, and it overpowered the chocolate cake. This one is a fan favorite, though, so if you want to try many things, add this to your list, and you may enjoy it!
Refreshment Corner
Caramel-Pecan Cream Cheese Pretzel ($7.59): This one I did and didn’t like. The pretzel itself was a bit too hard for my liking; however, the goodies on top were delicious! There weren’t enough pecans for my liking but getting the perfect bite with the pecans and chocolate drizzle is very delish!
Galactic Grill
Christmas Punch ($5.49): This is hands down THE best holiday drink I’ve ever had at Disneyland. It features Pomegranate, Cranberry & Orange Juices and Sprite served over Ice and garnished with Fresh Pomegranate Seeds, Cranberries and a Rosemary Sprig. This does need to be mixed up because there’s so much going on in it, but omg guys, this is the drink to try and it’s totally Instagrammable!
