At the Pink: Champagne Bar on the Disney Dream cruise ship, you will be welcomed by class, elegance, and delicious champagne cocktails! This is an adult-only lounge, and upon walking in, you will be greeted with glittering walls and an intimate, laid-back atmosphere with a touch of sophistication and mystery. Everything is, of course, pink and champagne-colored, and the decoration is inspired.
This stylish lounge serves Champagne, Champagne cocktails, sparkling wines—plus mixed drinks, single-malt whiskeys, and cognac. You can sip a flute of the tasteful Taittinger Prestige Rose Champagne or find a memorable way to end your day with specialty cocktails that include:
- Tropicale (Champagne with mango puree and maraschino liqueur)
- Blue Angel (Champagne with Grey Goose vodka, Cointreau, Blue Curacao liqueur and freshly squeezed lime juice)
- Absolutely Fabulous (Champagne with B & B liqueur, raspberry puree)
- a Champagne Escape combination (Champagne served with your choice of mango, peach or raspberry verrine)
Try the famous full Champagne tasting at Pink: Wine and Champagne Bar. Nibble on the chocolate chips provided prior to and just after each Champagne tasting, like the sommelier suggests—you’ll find that the flavor of chocolate is enhanced. The 4 flutes include the Prestige Rose, Taittinger Brut La Francaise, Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial (the only Champagne created to be served over ice) and Louis Roederer Cristal. The 2 Taittinger Champagnes were created and bottled by the vineyard exclusively for Pink: Wine and Champagne Bar.
Now, for my experience, I just mosied on in while exploring the Disney Dream cruise ship during my recent trip and decided to just try a champagne cocktail. I ordered the Elderbubble, which features Absolut Rasberri, St. Germain Elderflower, Moét & Chandon Imperial. The waitress said this is one of their most popular Champagne Cocktails, and I can see why because it was absolutely delicious. I do not like my drinks strong, but the bartender made this very well. It is very subtle and not overly sweet.
My husband ordered Pineapple Julep, which features Ciroc Pineapple, fresh pineapple, fresh orange, and Mint Leaves. I tried a sip of his, and I have to say I did like his more than mine, probably because I’m really into fruity drinks such as a Mai Tai. One little surprise I loved was that they gave us complimentary macarons to go with our drinks, and I have to say it was a very nice added touch. The little french cookies were excellent to nibble on while enjoying cocktails!
We enjoyed our experience so much that we did pop back in on another night, and they had a violinist, which only added to the classy vibes of this elegant little lounge. If you’re looking to have an adult’s night out while cruising on the Disney Dream, I highly recommend that you put Pink: Champagne and Wine Bar on your list of spots to enjoy a drink!
