Next time you’re at Animal Kingdom and looking for something delicious to eat, I have just the recommendation! On my recent trip to Animal Kingdom, I ate at Satu’li Canteen for the very first time, and it was incredible. At this Canteen, you are invited to indulge in the art and culture of the Na’vi while dining inside this former RDA mess hall filled with Na’vi art and cultural items. The decor and attention to detail are just astounding, and the food is absolutely delicious. Here, you won’t find burgers or traditional (and boring) American food. Instead, you will find healthful dishes and familiar flavors from another world—wholesome grains, fresh vegetables, and hearty proteins.

Owned and operated by Alpha Centauri Expeditions (ACE), Satu’li Canteen supplies travelers with all the comforts of home—courtesy of a unique, fast-casual menu crafted from Pandora’s natural abundance. Here’s how the menu works. You can choose from the following proteins:
- Combination Bowl: Grilled Beef* & Chicken
- Slow-Roasted Sliced Grilled Beef Bowl
- Chili-Garlic Shrimp Bowl
- Chopped Wood-Grilled Chicken Bowl
Then, choose a base…
- Red and Sweet Potato Hash
- Rice and Black Beans
- Lo Mein Noodles
- Hearty Salad
And finally, choose your sauce…
- Charred Green Onion Vinaigrette
- Black Bean Vinaigrette
- Creamy Herb Dressing
Other menu items include Cheeseburger Steamed Pods – Bao Buns, Chili-Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu Bowl, Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse, and more!
Jackie, Ryan, and I each had something different, and we were all in agreement that our dishes were excellent. I had the Chili-Shrimp Bowl with Lo Mein and the Creamy Herb Dressing. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, the veggies had a slight crunch, and the sauce was creamy perfection. I would like to try the other sauces in the future to see how they all compare, but the Creamy Herb one is an excellent choice if you aren’t sure which one to try the first time around. The Boba Balls were also a surprising but fun addition to the dish!

Ryan had the Slow-Roasted Sliced Grilled Beef Bowl, which includes Slow-Roasted Sliced Grilled Beef marinated in a blend of Garlic, Herbs, Red Pepper Spice, and Red Wine Vinegar topped with Crunchy Vegetable Slaw and Boba Balls. He chose Rice and Black Beans as his base with the Creamy Herb Dressing. His dish was missing the Boba Balls, which he was bummed about, but he loved his dish!

Jackie had the Chopped Wood-Grilled Chicken Bowl – Gluten/Wheat Allergy-friendly version. This dish features Wood-Grilled Chicken Thighs marinated with Garlic and Olive Oil topped with Crunchy Vegetable Slaw. Jackie also chose Rice and Black Beans and the base with the Creamy Herb Dressing. The Allergy-friendly ones do not come with the Boba Balls. Jackie was in love with this dish and said the chicken was super tender and flavorful, so if you love chicken, this is an excellent dish to choose!

Between the ambiance and the food quality, we highly recommend this quick-service dining spot! Let us know in the comments what your favorite dish is from Satu’li Canteen!
