SeaWorld saves the day with Halloween this year! While Universal and Disney have cancelled their Halloween events this year, SeaWorld has started selling tickets for their Halloween Spooktacular event, running September 15th through November 1st!

SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular is described on their website:

It’s an ocean of Halloween fun for the whole family at SeaWorld Orlando’s Halloween Spooktacular! During this modified daytime event, guests can safely explore our slightly spooky trick-or-treat trail and meet silly Halloween characters with physical distancing protocols in place, and much more during this safe, family-friendly event. SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular will return starting September 19 through November 1 and is included in park admission.

San Diego:

Halloween Spooktacular is one of San Diego’s biggest fall festivals, with weekends brimming with family fun. Get in the spooky spirit and catch popular live shows like Clyde & Seamore’s Big Halloween Bash and the return of the Sesame Street Halloween Parade, join delightful Halloween dance parties and let the little ones trick-or-treat throughout the park in a safe, family-friendly environment. Oh, and be on the lookout for singing pumpkins in the park.

All visitors are welcome to dress up in costumes, although only those 12 years and younger are allowed to wear masks. Guests who are ages 13 and older may not wear masks or hoods in the park, and all costumes are subject to the normal dress code for the park. In addition, face painting is not permitted on any guests unless it is done by park artists.

The event will run at both the Orlando, Florida and San Diego, California theme parks.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s Halloween event How-O-Scream will also be returning on select nights starting September 25th through November 1st!

Event times will run as follows:

Fridays & Saturdays: 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Sundays: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Ashley Carter reported that Howl-O-Scream will not include haunted houses this year. Instead the event will be modified to have open-air scare zones and entertainment. Capacity will be limited and face masks are required. Be sure to reserve your horrifying night, as tickets will sell fast!
