Disney’s classic Star Tours attraction got a slight overhaul this week, including the previously announced planet of Crait. However, riders were surprised by a brand new ending — a landing on the planet of Batuu, which is the name of the planet from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Here’s what Disney fans on social media had to say about it…

This is a great way to tie Star Tours into the upcoming Galaxy’s Edge expansion, which will be a bit detached from the existing Star Wars area. Galaxy’s Edge is set to open on both coasts in 2019.
In addition to the TWO new planets, there has been a rumor that soon riders will be able choose between various Star Wars timelines.
The new Star Tours scenes are available to enjoy today.
