Every time news comes out about the new Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel, it just keeps gets better and better! Today it was announced that one of the exciting new experiences that will be offered when the new hotel opens is a dinner show!

Per Yahoo News, “Plans for the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel were announced in 2017, but due to the pandemic progress was halted. The Galactic Starcruiser will have all sorts of activities for guests to enjoy including a lounge, dinner show, tours of the ship, and more.”

Yahoo News also reports that Guests will be seated at tables and surrounding stages will feature performers, although it’s unclear if those performers will be Disney Cast Members or holograms. Guests will also be able to decide how much they want to be involved in the experience. Those choices include accepting missions from the Resistance or the First Order and training with a lightsaber. How awesome does that sound?

This information came from the newly released The Art of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge coffee table book in which Disney has confirmed this brand new experience for Starcruiser that Guests can look forward to.

According to Inside the Magic, the book reads:

Guests who want to maximize their immersion in the Star Wars story of Galaxy’s Edge need look no further than Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. Coming to Walt Disney World Resort, Galactic Starcruiser will take guests on an adventure like non other — one that “travels” into space to put guests on an elegant starship in the Chandrila Star Line fleet, the Halcyon. An overnight experience shaped around standard cruise offerings — a lounge, a dinner show, tours of the ship — Galactic Starcruiser goes above and beyond by extending an invitation to participate more actively in the narrative — whether accepting a mission from the Resistance or the First Order, training with a lightsaber, or kicking back in the lounge. Each guest sets his or her own level of participation, and their choices impact the story around them.

While there’s still no official opening date yet, Disney’s website says it’s coming in 2021.
