Three New Floats Coming to Pixar Play Parade

Disney has announced that three new story elements are being added to the Pixar Play Parade when it returns to Disneyland on April 13.

A new float of the Pixar mascot, Luxo Jr. the lamp will kick off the parade along with the familiar bouncing yellow ball. Russell, Carl Fredricksen, Dug the dog and Kevin the bird will be featured in a Up float. And finally Joy, Sadness and Bing Bong will be featured on an Inside Out float.

The news comes as part of the ’12 Days of Disney Parks Christmas’, where Disney promises a new experience or attraction announcement daily.

I've loved Disney as long as I can remember. As a former newspaper editor, web developer, and Disney comics freelancer, I'm able to combine that experience into writing about Disney online. I'm also the co-host of a Disney fan podcast called 'Pirates & Princesses.' Opinions mine.
