It was overcast and comfortable at Magic Kingdom today!
I arrived about 7:45am, just in time to waltz into the gates and head straight to Jungle Cruise! The goal today was to ride Magic Kingdom’s opening day attractions. Until I got to Tomorrowland and realized just how many things looked different to me!
First, let’s marvel at this Tron Coaster construction…

The ride itself seems massive…I literally cannot wait for it to be done so we can get on it!
I also noticed the walls that have been hiding this quick service drink location have come down and revealed a stunningly bright and shiny Cool Ship & Cool Scanner! It wasn’t open, but this was and is a great location for a cold drink, so hopefully they will reopen this location for guests in time for Summer.

I also noted the Monster’s Inc. Laugh Floor sign has been uncovered and revealed a fresh coat of white paint. Could this mean this attraction is reopening???

On my way out of the land, I noticed some differences in the concrete… I realize this is a weird thing to point out…it’s just ground am I right? I only noticed this because when I was a little girl I used to trace the gears with my feet coming in and out of the land. Slowly these designs on the ground are disappearing and making way for a plain grey pavement.
Here is the new section:

Here is part of the gears not yet replaced:

And just before I walked out of Tomorrowland, I noticed the rock formations have been pressure washed! They had been previously repainted, but you can see the colors more vibrant now!

Here at Magic Kingdom it seems every day there is something being refurbed, refreshed or reimagined and I will do my best to report when I see changes happening!
