Exciting news for Animal Kingdom today! Tusker House, which has been closed for over a year due to the pandemic and this popular spot for character dining interaction has been sorely missed. Now, Disney announced this morning that Tusker House is officially reopening on June 20!

Not only do we have just the food to look forward to, Guests can also look forward to once again seeing Donald Duck and his friends dressed in their safari best! Instead of a buffet, you will now also be able to enjoy African-inspired flavors at this table-service restaurant for a family-style breakfast, lunch and dinner. Although the menu has yet to be announced, we anticipate there will be an array of yummy menu items to look forward to!
Other character dining spots that have reopened include Chef Mickey and Topolino’s Terrace, so we anticipate that the character dining will be a similar experience to these two spots at Tusker House.
