If you thought Halloween couldn’t get any wilder… think again. This fall, Halloween Horror Nights returns to Universal Orlando Resort for its 35th anniversary, and it’s not just a celebration…it’s a full-blown descent into madness. This year’s theme, “Infernal Carnival of Nightmares,” transforms Universal Studios Florida into a twisted, decaying carnival where the fun has long since rotted away. Think eerie midway games, sinister performers, and scare zones dripping with chaos. It’s giving circus… but make it terrifying.
And because this is a milestone year, the event is pulling inspiration from decades of horror history, blending fan-favorite elements with some of the biggest names in the genre. Translation: expect the unexpected, and then some!
In a move no one saw coming, two of HHN’s most iconic figures are taking center stage: Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow.
Yes, you read that right. For the first time ever, these longtime rivals are joining forces. Their philosophy? “A fear divided is a fear diluted.” Honestly… that’s not comforting.
Their uneasy alliance comes to life in an all-new original haunted house, “Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control.” Guests will step directly into the origins of their twisted rivalry, where chaos and control collide in a battle for ultimate power. But here’s the real kicker: instead of destroying each other, they realize the true path to domination is working together.
Which is… objectively worse for all of us.
And that’s not all! If you’re already counting down the days, you don’t have to wait to show it. The 2026 Halloween Horror Nights merchandise collection, featuring Jack and Oddfellow, is officially here. From bold apparel to collectible must-haves, you can grab the goods now at select locations inside the park or online.
Tickets are on the way, and more details about haunted houses, scare zones, and entertainment will be creeping in soon. If history tells us anything, this lineup is going to escalate fast, and you’ll want a plan before the crowds (and creatures) take over!
