Walt Disney World Accommodates Crowds With Adjustments To Park Hours

I remember a time when Walt Disney World legitimately had a “slow season,” or “off-peak” time frame. Oh, the glory days…

With the opening of so many new and exciting things, especially Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, park guests are reporting that every time is a busy time do visit Walt Disney World. Sticking to their top notch customer service, Disney Wold has updated many park hours. Recently, Disney has made adjustments to the Magic Kingdom hours and Hollywood Studios.

Magic Kingdom

For the month of March, we are seeing park hours extended and a few changes to the current magic hour schedule.

  • On March 1st, 6th and 7th the park will be closing at 9 pm instead of 8 pm
  • From March 8th-16th and 18th-31st, the park will be closing at 10 pm instead of 9 pm
  • March 17th will see the park close at 11 pm instead of 9 pm

All of this means that Extra Magic Hours have changed on March 25th and will now be running 10 pm – 12 am instead of the previous 9 pm – 11 pm.

Hollywood Studios

We have less than a month before Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and we’re already seeing Fast Pass times opening for the new attraction. On top of everything Star Wars, Disney adjusted their times for the park.

The main change at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be shifting all Extra Magic Hours from the morning into the evening at least until August 2020. This is great news, as guests are still lining up early to claim those boarding groups.
