If a Walt Disney World vacation is on your 2027 travel list, now is the time to start paying attention. Disney has announced new spring 2027 vacation offers, the return of EPCOT festivals, and 2027 Disney After Hours dates—giving families even more reasons to plan a Walt Disney World vacation early next year.
And there’s some significant potential savings on the table!
Starting September 10, 2026, guests can take advantage of several offers for stays at the Disney Resorts Collection, including a vacation package offer that can save up to $250 per night.
Here’s what you need to know before planning your 2027 Disney trip.
Save Up to $250 Per Night on Select Disney Vacation Packages

One of the biggest offers announced is a savings opportunity on select Walt Disney Travel Company room-and-ticket packages.
Guests can save up to $250 per night on select 4-night, 4-day or longer vacation packages that include a stay at a participating Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
The offer is valid for select nights for stays from:
January 3 through July 28, 2027
If you’re already considering a spring or early-summer Disney vacation, this is an offer worth looking into.
Keep in mind that the maximum savings won’t apply to every resort, room category, or travel date. Disney promotions are subject to availability and specific terms, so comparing your dates and resort options is important.
Save Up to 25% on Disney Resort Rooms This Spring

Don’t need a vacation package? Disney is also offering a room-only promotion.
Guests can save up to 25% on select rooms at Disney Resorts Collection hotels for stays on select nights from:
January 3 through April 29, 2027
This could be especially appealing if you already have your theme park tickets or annual passes and are primarily looking for a discounted stay at a Disney Resort.
But don’t automatically assume the highest percentage discount equals the best deal. The resort you choose, your travel dates, length of stay, and room category can all affect the overall cost of your vacation. That’s why using a travel agent is awesome…they can help figure out which deal works best for you and your family!
Disney Visa Cardmembers Can Save Up to 30%

If you have a Disney Visa Card, there’s an additional offer to consider. Disney Visa Cardmembers can save up to 30% on select Disney Resorts Collection rooms for stays on select nights from:
January 3 through April 29, 2027
There’s also an additional opportunity for savings on certain weekend dates.
For stays of 5 or more nights, guests can enjoy savings on select weekend dates from:
January 8 through February 27, 2027
If you have a Disney Visa Card and are considering a 2027 trip, it’s definitely worth comparing this offer with the other available promotions.
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts Returns in 2027

One of the best parts of visiting Walt Disney World in the winter and spring is the return of EPCOT’s seasonal festivals.
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts Presented by Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game returns in 2027.
January 15 – March 1, 2027
That’s an extra week of festival fun compared with previous dates. Festival of the Arts is a fantastic choice for travelers who love Disney entertainment, visual arts, live performances, and, of course, food. EPCOT’s festival marketplaces offer specialty food and drinks, while the park comes alive with artistic experiences and entertainment.
If you’re a Disney foodie, this is one festival you won’t want to overlook when choosing your travel dates.
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival Returns

Then, as winter gives way to spring, EPCOT transforms again.
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival returns:
March 10 – May 31, 2027
This festival is one of the most beautiful times to visit EPCOT, with incredible topiary displays, gardens, seasonal food and drinks, and entertainment throughout the park. For families who love Disney characters, the larger-than-life character topiaries are always a highlight.
Planning your vacation around one of EPCOT’s festivals can add an entirely different dimension to your Disney trip, which is why your travel dates can matter much more than simply finding the cheapest airfare.
Disney After Hours Returns in 2027
Looking for a way to experience Walt Disney World after the sun goes down?
Disney After Hours is returning in 2027, with dates announced for all three participating parks.
Magic Kingdom Park
Select nights January 11 through July 19, 2027
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Select nights January 16 through August 25, 2027
EPCOT
Select nights January 21 through August 19, 2027
Disney After Hours is a separately ticketed event that gives guests the opportunity to enjoy select attractions, entertainment, and treats during extended evening hours.
For some families, these events can be a great way to experience popular attractions while spending less time waiting in traditional daytime queues.
But here’s something important to consider:
An After Hours ticket isn’t automatically the right choice for every family.
Whether it’s worth the additional cost depends on your priorities, budget, the ages of those traveling with you, and how you plan to structure the rest of your park days.
When Can You Purchase Disney After Hours Tickets?
There’s also an early booking opportunity for Disney Resort guests.
Guests staying at select:
- Walt Disney World Resort hotels
- Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels
- Shades of Green
can purchase Disney After Hours tickets starting September 10, 2026.
All other guests can purchase tickets beginning:
September 22, 2026
If you’re planning to attend an After Hours event, this is something you’ll want to keep on your radar—particularly if you have a specific date in mind.
Is Spring 2027 a Good Time to Visit Walt Disney World?
Honestly, there are very few bad times to visit Walt Disney World. But spring has some compelling advantages.
Depending on when you travel, you could combine your vacation with:
January–early March
- EPCOT International Festival of the Arts
- Cooler weather
- Disney After Hours opportunities
- Potential resort savings
March–April
- EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival
- Spring break travel
- Disney After Hours opportunities
- Potential room discounts
May
- Flower & Garden Festival
- Longer days
- Warmer weather
- Disney After Hours opportunities
And with the newly announced promotions, some 2027 dates could offer a particularly attractive combination of lower resort costs + seasonal entertainment + special events.
Don’t Just Look at the Discount—Look at the Whole Vacation
This is where Disney vacation planning gets tricky.
You might find a 30% room discount and assume you’ve found the best possible deal. But what if shifting your dates by a few days gets you a better overall package?
Or what if a different Disney Resort gives you a better combination of price, location, transportation, and amenities?
And what happens if you want to attend an EPCOT festival or Disney After Hours event?
Your vacation dates can affect all of those decisions.
The goal isn’t simply to find a Disney discount. The goal is to build the best vacation around the discount.
That’s one of the reasons working with a Disney travel advisor can be so valuable.
Instead of spending hours trying to piece together Disney promotions, resort options, tickets, dining, festivals, and special events on your own, you can have someone help you compare the options and determine what makes the most sense for your trip.
Ready to Start Planning Your 2027 Disney Vacation?
With new discounts available and the 2027 festival and After Hours calendars beginning to take shape, spring 2027 is officially worth putting on your Disney vacation radar.
If you’re considering Walt Disney World between January and July 2027, now is a great time to start looking at your options.
And remember: Disney promotions are subject to availability and specific terms, so the offer you see today may not be available for every resort or travel date.
