Hey Insiders! I’ve just returned home from 4 nights at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando! This was my second time staying at this resort, so I thought I would share some great reasons to consider booking for your next Universal Orlando vacation!
The rooms are light & bright! Some rooms have a glass stand-up shower, others have a bathtub. (You can request one or the other when you check in if you have a preference!) The best part for me is the adjustable lighted mirrors over the vanity; it makes such a difference! The beds are comfortable, each room has a desk area and an easy chair; I had a great view of the waterway, but honestly, the whole property is so beautiful & well landscaped, any view would be just fine!
Guests can take the complimentary water taxi service from Sapphire Falls to City Walk, Universal Studios, and Islands of Adventure!
Now to the most important part… the FOOD! OMG. Where do I even begin? Amatista’s Cookhouse is my favorite for breakfast; they have an excellent buffet that’s perfect for indulging before a full park day! They do serve lunch & dinner, but I have not dined there yet for those meals! (I do hear the pizza is great!) Strong Water is a great bar on the lobby level with a rooftop patio for guests to enjoy their drinks and food offerings; I personally recommend the charcuterie board! Heading to enjoy those early morning park hours exclusively for resort guests? Stop by the full-service coffee shop in the lobby & grab something for the boat ride over!
Need a day off from the parks? Schedule a little rest & rejuvenation poolside at Sapphire Falls! They have one of the nicest, largest pools I’ve ever seen on property, with a zero entry side and a bench around the edge for ultimate relaxation! The best party? Scan the QR code on your beach chair to order food & drinks from the Drhum Club! We personally recommend the beef nachos and chicken quesadillas! There are so many yummy menu items, that we decided to order a few to share so that we could sample a few! I also had a frozen (nonalcoholic) peach smoothie that was SO refreshing! 10/10 the BEST pool food I’ve ever had at a resort!
Overall, we had such an enjoyable time on our Universal Orlando vacation! Staying at a resort like Sapphire Falls turns your theme park adventure, into a relaxing vacation all at the same time! The best part of Universal Orlando, in my opinion, is the accessibility from the parks, to City Walk, to the resorts. I love how easy it is to spend the morning in the parks, come back to your resort and enjoy the afternoon poolside, then pop back over to City Walk for dinner on the town! Universal has truly taken the guesswork out of your vacation so that you can truly just relax, and enjoy!
