Today WDWNT posted some images of workers at Epcot repairing the facade of the attraction.
The Wonders of Life show building closed in 2007, but it’s been used as a Festival Center for the International Flower and Garden Festival and the Food and Wine Festival for a few years.
Over time, the building has begun to look a little rough around the edges. It seems there is some effort to restore the exterior.
There have been rumors that the building would be converted into something else during the Epcot Expansion/ Renovation. The building does appear in the artist rendering of the “new” Epcot.
We don’t yet know what the plans are, but I’m happy to see that something is being done with it.
It always gave me a twinge of sadness that it was there, pretty much empty, for all this time.
