When it comes to rooms at this resort, there is a wide variety of options. These options range from a Resort View room that sleeps 2 adults all the way to a 3 Bedroom Grand Villa complete with 3 full bathrooms, a full kitchen, living and dining areas, game room, washer and dryer, and a balcony and sleeps up to 12 adults!
Dining at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is excellent! This location is also known as the “foodie resort” and we can see why! The options are plentiful and the food is exquisite!
Dining Options at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Jiko – The Cooking Place: This is a fine dining restaurant with traditional African, Mediterranean, and Indian Cuisine. The menu does change seasonally and the hours are daily from 5:00pm-9:30pm. Dining plans are accepted here and advanced reservations are highly encouraged.
Boma – Flavors of Africa: This is an “all you care to enjoy” Buffet restaurant inspired by a lively African Marketplace. Breakfast hours are daily from 7:30am-11:30am and Dinner hours are daily from 5:00pm-9:30pm. Dining Plans are accepted here and advanced reservations are highly encouraged!
The Mara: Inspired by an African Safari, this is a grab and go options/food court with several options open daily from 6:30am-11:00pm. Mobile ordering is an option at this location and some dining plans are accepted here.
Cape Town Lounge and Wine Bar: This full bar/lounge is open daily from 5:00pm-9:30pm and is located near Jiko – The Cooking Place.
Victoria Falls Lounge: This location has a variety of cocktails, wine, and beer that overlooks Boma – Flavors of Africa. There is also a selection of light bites that changes seasonally. It opens from 4:00pm-11:00pm.
Uzima Springs Pool Bar: Open from 11:00am-9:00pm, this bar has options ranging from frozen drinks, to beers, wine, and specialty cocktails. Dining plans are not accepted here.
Sanaa: This is a quick service/casual dining restaurant serving African and Indian fare. Lunch hours are 11:30am to 3:00pm. Dinner hours are 5:00pm to 9:30pm. Some dining plans are accepted here. Advance Reservations are recommended here. This is an awesome place to dine as you get the chance to see gazelles, zebras, giraffes, kudu, ostriches, cranes during your meal!
Sanaa Lounge: Open daily from 11:30am – 9:30pm, this is a lounge that serves alcoholic as well as non alcoholic beverages along with Indian-influenced appetizers.
Maji Pool Bar: A bar serving cocktails, wine, beer, sandwiches, salads, and select snacks open daily from 11:00am – 9:00pm. Some dining plans are accepted.
