Cast Members truly are the secret behind the magic you experience while on vacation! Disney wouldn’t be the place we know and love without the hard work, passion, and dedication they bring to work every day! The next time you encounter a Cast Member who’s doing a great job, goes above and beyond, or just takes the time to make your experience special, we encourage you to leave a “Cast Compliment” via your My Disney Experience app! Recently, Disney has made it super easy to give recognition to Cast Members who deserve it; all it takes is a few minutes of your time, right on your phone!
Simply open up your My Disney Experience app, and click on the three little lines in the bottom right corner. Scroll down until you see the “Cast Compliment” with the little nametag icon next to it.
Tap on “Cast Compliment” and the below form will pop up for you to fill out! Just make sure you know their name, and fill out any other info you can remember! i.e. Hometown on their nametag, work location, exactly where and when you encountered them, etc. This will help their manager properly identify the Cast Member you’re complimenting!
Once located, the Cast Member will receive a thank you note with your compliment inside & the location of their interaction with you! While it may only take 5 minutes of your time, it will absolutely make someone else’s day! Take a moment to stop and say thank you; let’s start telling our Cast Members how much we appreciate them!
