Live-Action ‘Captain Marvel’ Costume Revealed

Actress Brie Larson has been spotted on set sporting the live-action Captain Marvel uniform and it’s… green.

In the first photos of Larson as the titular super-heroine of Marvel Studios’ upcoming Captain Marvel film, the actress is sporting a costume similar to the red and blue one the character wears in the comic, albeit green and black.

Fans are speculating that this could be an early version of the character, as her predecessor Captain Mar-Vell (rumored to be played by Jude Law) initially wore a green costume in the comics.

Captain Marvel is scheduled to hit theaters on March 8, 2019, and is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. The film is said to be set in the 1990s, and is expected to show how pilot Carol Danvers gains her powers. The character will also appear in the untitled fourth Avengers film, also set for a 2019 release.

I've loved Disney as long as I can remember. As a former newspaper editor, web developer, and Disney comics freelancer, I'm able to combine that experience into writing about Disney online. I'm also the co-host of a Disney fan podcast called 'Pirates & Princesses.' Opinions mine.
