Tokyo Disney, much like the other theme parks, have had a rollercoaster of a time with reopening.
After reopening in July, they gradually brought back offerings. Fireworks and new attractions to start. But once the COVID numbers escalated again, they had to backpedal a bit. Events and fireworks became temporarily unavailable and several restaurants closed temporarily. Additionally, they reduced the park hours, and halted ticket sales and they placed a ban on non-resident visitors. Now, ticket sales are to be made available.
The website reads the sale of 1-day passports is returning. Ticket sales are resuming 2PM JST on January 14, 2021.
Guests will be able to purchase tickets to visit the parks through February 19th, 2021.
Those who would like to visit the week of February 20th-26th will be able to purchase 1-day passports on January 20th, 2021 at 2PM JST.
Admission is limited to those who purchased fixed-date tickets through the Tokyo Disney Resort Online Reservations & Tickets website. Or through the Tokyo Disney Resort App, or Guests who were successful in the “Park admission lottery.”
That’s all for now, Insiders!
