The Disney to Disney connection is returning in 2024! Breeze Airways launched a direct flight option from Orange County, California, to Orlando, Florida, this past year, making it more convenient and cheaper for Disney (and Universal!) fans who like to visit the parks on both coasts. They halted service a few months ago but have officially announced the service will return in February 2024.
Breeze Airways offers one-way flights for as low as $69, and, drum roll, all the flights are direct! I know from personal experience that finding a cheap flight from Orange County to Orlando (and vice versa) can be extremely challenging and expensive (not to mention all the layovers!). This option is significantly cheaper and more convenient, so it’s exciting to hear that they will resume service in early 2024!
This isn’t the only exciting announcement from Breeze Airways. According to Travel & Leisure, “Starting May 29, 2024, the airline will launch nonstop service from Hartford to Orlando three times each week. The flight will be operated on an Airbus A220-300 aircraft on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
On the same day, Breeze will also launch flights from Hartford to Orange County-Santa Ana in California five times each week. That route will be considered a ‘BreezeThru service’ in which there is a stopover, but travelers don’t need to change planes.
‘Breeze has served Bradley International Airport since our very first day of operations, and Hartford was one of our first few bases of operations,’ Breeze Airways President Tom Doxey said in a statement shared with T+L. ‘These two new routes to Orlando and Orange County will connect our guests with two great family-friendly destinations – and access to both Disney parks!'”
