Today, Bob Chapek, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products, announced that the upcoming Disney Skyliner will be ready for transporting guests beginning Fall 2019.
This new transportation system will connect Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios to four hotels including: Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and the upcoming Disney Riviera (Disney Vacation Club) resort.

The last support tower was just installed and the cables are starting to be added to the system.
No word yet on if there will be an extra cost or if it will only be available for guests of the four connecting hotels or not. There has been a rumor stating it would only be for guests of those resorts as so many would want to ride and the cars have a limited capacity.
