Disney’s blockbuster animated film ‘Moana’ is coming to home video — soon! The Blu-ray and DVD release date is set for March 7, 2017, while you can watch the film on digital (courtesy of Disney Movies Anywhere) on February 21, 2017. The gap between theatrical releases and home video is getting tighter and tighter. Moana was just released Thanksgiving weekend, and will be available on digital less than three months from its theatrical premiere.
Starring Auli’i Cravalho as titular Polynesian princess Moana, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as demigod Maui, the CG animated film has landed over $500 million worldwide at the box office, and holds an insanely high rating of 95% on review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes.
