New ‘Disney Riviera’ Hotel Announced for Walt Disney World–Will Connect to Skyliners

Yet another announcement from D23 today, was a new Epcot area  Disney Vacation Club hotel called Disney Riviera.  It was also announced that this new DVC hotel will connect to the upcoming Skyliner system.  It will be the 15th Disney Vacation Club property added to the resort.

According to Inside the Magic

“We’re thrilled to announce plans for a new Disney Vacation Club property called Disney Riviera Resort coming to Walt Disney World Resort,” Chapek said. “Our Vacation Club Members are among our most loyal fans, and we think that they will love what we have planned, especially the rooftop restaurant that will offer unbelievable views of nighttime spectaculars at both Epcot and Hollywood Studios

The hotel will have about 300 units and should open in Fall of 2019.
