New ‘Kingdom Hearts III’ Trailer Debuts, Disney and Square-Enix RPG Coming In January 2019

The long-awaited third entry into the Kingdom Hearts franchise is scheduled to come out in January 2019. After years of virtual radio silence, the hype machine is up and running with several images and teaser trailers dropping.

Now a new trailer has dropped that focuses on Big Hero 6, and shows off more of the button mashing RPG action the Square-Enix series is known for.

Here’s more from video game news site Polygon

The Kingdom Hearts 3 Big Hero 6 trailer — which follows a shorter trailer released during a PlayStation press event last week — shows our heroes journeying to San Fransokyo, the futuristic home of Baymax and friends. Sora, Donald and Goofy, calling themselves the Keyblade Hero 3, team up with Hiro Hamada, Honey Lemon, Go Go Tomago, Wasabi No-Ginger, Fred and Baymax to battle big robots and fly over San Fransokyo’s cityscape. Our heroes also take time to visit Kingdom Hearts 3’s FrozenTangled and Pirates of the Caribbean worlds, while bits and pieces of the game’s story play out.

Let’s just hope there’s not another delay!

I've loved Disney as long as I can remember. As a former newspaper editor, web developer, and Disney comics freelancer, I'm able to combine that experience into writing about Disney online. I'm also the co-host of a Disney fan podcast called 'Pirates & Princesses.' Opinions mine.
