UPDATE – Hearing that they don’t know if the rides will re-open tonight or not. Also hearing that if guests have one day tickets they are making them park hoppers and Disney is allowing them to go to other parks. Fastpasses are being turned into “Multiple Experience” Fast Passes.
I’m hearing on Facebook and Twitter that there are power issues at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Also hearing that the cause could be a small fire at the Cooling building. Again, no confirmed cause, that’s just what I’m hearing from some reliable sources.
*UPDATES* AT 6:45 they sent out this message to people in the parks
rip to hollywood studios every ride is down except alien swirling saucers ooooo noooo

Welp. A boatload of rides went down at Hollywood Studios right now

Around 5PM buildings were losing power and AC.
Currently (5:50 at time I wrote this) many attractions are listed as being closed on the App Including: Star Tours, Alien Swirling Saucers, Slinky Dog Dash, Toy Story Midway Mania, Rockin Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror
But the Muppet Vision attraction is still listed as a 15 minute wait and the Launch Bay is showing as open. Not sure if that’s an actual thing or a glitch.
Galaxy Far Far Away still running!

Not sure what they are going to do about it. Some people are reporting that the line at Guest Relations is very long. I’m sure it is!
Sounds like buses are currently turning people away for Hollywood Studios as well:
@WaltDisneyWorld Why is Hollywood Studios closed. All busses are turning everyone away. We have dinner reservations at Hollywood and Vine? And everyone knows trying to get dinner reservations now someplace else is next to impossible.

We will update with more information as it becomes available.
