Like a lot of you, my family’s Spring Break plans were put on hold, thanks coronavirus (insert eye roll here). We were supposed to sail on the Disney Dream March 23rd and before we could make the call not to go, Disney Cruise Line made it for us.
Virtual experiences are certainly trending. Meetings, school classrooms, and now ports of call. The Port Canaveral Webcam site features their port as well as many others. Right now, Port Canaveral’s webcam features a beautiful view of the Disney Dream.
I know it’s not as exciting as taking a Disney Cruise, but I’ll take whatever I can get right now. The good news is, Disney Cruise Line will be sailing soon. I can hear the sweet sound of their ship horns now!

Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island, is truly heaven on Earth. However, what blew us away was Pirate Night and Fireworks at sea! Did you know Disney Cruise Line is the only fleet of ships in the world permitted to launch fireworks on open waters? These are just a few of the reasons that when it comes to cruise ships, Disney Cruise Line is in a league of their own.
