Three Disney Holiday Specials Are Coming

DISNEY PARKS MAGICAL CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION - (Monday, Dec. 25, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. EST, 9:00-11:00 a.m. CST/MST/PST; airtimes vary, check listings, on The ABC Television Network and on the ABC app) - This Christmas, Disney Parks celebrates the joy of the holiday season, as hosts Julianne Hough and Nick Lachey take viewers on a magical ride down Main Street, U.S.A. and beyond. Co-hosted by Jesse Palmer, the Christmas Day celebration will be brighter than ever before, bringing together the beloved Christmas Day parade, magical musical performances, surprise celebrity guests and heartwarming family stories to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year. Disney knows a lot about holiday magic. You can see it all over at the theme parks and in their special holiday merchandise. Now, you will be able to see it on television too, when they air three holiday specials this season.

First up will be ABC Television’s kick-off to Christmas on The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration on Thursday, November 29th from 9 PM until 11 PM EST.

Hosted by Jordan Fisher (Dancing with the Stars: Juniors) and Sarah Hyland (Modern Family.) The magical two-hour prime-time event will take place at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Featuring musical performances and special appearances and an “extraordinary castle lighting spectacular from Disney Parks around the world- Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Shanghai Disneyland, and Hong Kong Disneyland.

Musical Performances By:

  •  Gwen Stefani – “Feliz Navidad.”
  •  Meghan Trainor – medley of her hits.
  • Brett Eldredge, joined by Meghan Trainor “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” from Eldredge’s album “Glow.”
  • Andrea Bocelli will sing a Christmas classic, and then be joined by his son, Matteo Bocelli, to perform their new duet, “Fall on Me,” from “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.”
  • Jordan Fisher – “Come December.”
  •  Aloe Blacc “I Got Your Christmas Right Here,” from his first holiday album, “Christmas Funk,” coming out on Nov. 9.
  • American Idol winner Maddie Poppe- “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”
  • Why Don’t We – medley of  “Silent Night” and their original song “Hey Good Lookin.”

Next, you can check out The Disney Channel for Disney Parks Presents a 25 Days of Christmas Holiday Party on Saturday, December 1 from 8 PM – 8:30 PM EST.

But you can catch it early on November 23 on the DisneyNOW App.

Join Jordan Fisher again with the stars of the new Disney Channel show “Coop & Cami Ask the World” Ruby Rose Turner and Dakota Lotus for the special half-hour event. Featuring musical performances and special appearances by Disney Channel stars: Kylee Russell (Disney Channel Original Movie “ZOMBIES”), Booboo Stewart (Disney’s “Descendants 3”) , Sadie Stanley (Disney Channel Original Movie “Kim Possible”) and Sean Giambrone (Disney Channel Original Movie “Kim Possible,” and “The Goldbergs”).

“Stanley and Giambrone will take viewers behind the scenes of Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy, where guests will experience the world of Pixar’s “Cars films and come face-to-face with Lightning McQueen. The experience rolls into Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort in spring 2019.”

Musical performances include:

  • Gwen Stefani- “Let It Snow.”
  • Brett Eldredge -“It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas.”
  • Asher Angel (Disney Channel’s Andi Mack)- “Last Christmas.”
  • Meg Donnelly (Disney Channel’s “ZOMBIES”) – “Mele Kalikimaka.”

Finally Disney/ABC Television will be offering the “company-wide programming event 25 Days of Christmas” and on Christmas morning you can watch Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade.

Tune in TUESDAY, DEC. 25 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM EST ( 9 AM-11 AM CST/MST/PST; airtimes vary, check local listings).

Tune in to join hosts Jordan Fisher and Sarah Hyland and Jesse Palmar as they share the special holiday parade with viewers from around the world.  To make the Christmas special even more spectacular, there will be celebrity guests and special musical performances.

Parade correspondents Trevor Jackson (Freeform’s “grown-ish”) and Cierra Ramirez (Freeform’s “Good Trouble”) will join in on the fun and keep the show rolling.

  • Gwen Stefani – “Winter Wonderland” from her Christmas album, “You Make It Feel Like Christmas.”
  • Brett Eldredge – “Do You Hear What I Hear?”
  • Andrea Bocelli – “Ave Maria” and then will  be joined by his son, Matteo Bocelli, to perform “White Christmas.”
  • Jordan Fisher – “This Christmas.”
  • Aloe Blacc-“Tell Your Mama” from his holiday album, “Christmas Funk,” out Nov. 9.
  • Olivia Holt (Freeform’s “Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger”) will sing a holiday tune.
  • American Idol winner Maddie Poppe – “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”
  • DCappella-  “Last Christmas.”
  • Why Don’t We- “Kiss You This Christmas” from their holiday album, “A Why Don’t We Christmas.”
