Universal Theme Parks takes a $1.6 Billion Loss in Revenue

Comcast’s Q3 earnings report is out, a there a few key takeaways from its theme park division. These parks include Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood, and Universal Studios Japan.

Revenue for NBCUniversal’s theme parks division is down 80.9%. NBCUniversal Parks division brought in $311 Million. That number is down from $1.6B, which was the number last year at this time.

NBCUniversal sites the reason for this is because Universal Orlando and Universal Japan are operating at limited capacity. Universal Studios Hollywood remains closed, with no reopening date in site.
