Walt Disney World Raises Prices for Resort Parking, Reusable Shopping Bags

In addition to the sudden price increase for Walt Disney World annual passes, Disney has also increased the price of overnight parking at its resorts, and even the price of its reusable shopping bags.

To be fair, the price increases are nominal and probably won’t deter most people from visiting the parks. But charging for resort parking at all did not sit well with Guests when it was first announced last year. In the past year, Guests have seen increases in theme park parking, MagicBands and even snacks.

Values Resorts are seeing a $2 price increase per night, while Moderate and Deluxe Resorts will see a $1 increase per night.

Here are the new Disney Resort Overnight Parking rates…

For reservations made before June 18, 2019 for arrivals in 2019 or 2020:

  • Disney Value Resorts: $13 per night
  • Disney Moderate Resorts: $19 per night
  • Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts: $24 per night

For reservations made June 18, 2019 and thereafter for arrivals in 2020:

  • Disney Value Resorts: $15 per night
  • Disney Moderate Resorts: $20 per night
  • Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts: $25 per night

Also going up? The price of reusable shopping bags, according to WDW News Today. According to them, the bags range from$2.00 to $3.00 from the smallest to the largest size. That’s a $1.00 increase per bag.
