If you are considering a Disney vacation in the near future, I’d like to share some information that I hope will prove to be helpful in making your decision.
So many of us have put off our Disney vacation due to the pandemic and at this point are getting antsy with staying home and missing making memories and life as we knew it. We all craving to get back to normal despite what the new normal is.
Walt Disney World, like everything else, has changed but many say it is better than ever! Requesting that some of the new changes stay intact for the future.
Guests can still see their favorite characters, dine in first class restaurants, enjoy their favorite attractions, shop and make memories like never before.
Wait times – there will always be wait times at the Happiest Place on Earth but right now with the limited capacity that Disney is allowing, the wait times seem to be a bit more pleasant.
Depending on when you are in the park and which attraction you are at, the wait times can vary anywhere from 10 minutes and up. Of course, the more popular attractions will have the longest wait times. With that being said, even in the busiest season, the wait times are still doable.
Lines seem quite long but let’s remember, there are social distance markers keeping guests anywhere from 6 to 10 feet apart.
Right now, there are no character parades however Disney has added pop up Cavalcades. Once again, Disney has found a way to bring the joy and excitement back in a way that is safe for everyone. Being surprised during the day has added so much “magic” to guests visits. There is no standing in line on the street waiting for the parade. Go about your day experiencing all the magic and
Listen for the music and keep your eyes open for these amazing magical pop up experiences!
Ready for a bite to eat? There are so many amazing, mouth-watering restaurants open and ready to serve you. More and more dining options are opening as capacity increases. Of course, I am always tempted to share my favorite restaurants….
- The Boathouse at Disney Springs – great place to sit outside on the water for a quick appetizer and cocktail.
- Le Cellier Steakhouse in Epcot
- Teppan Edo in Epcot
- Via Napoli in Epcot
- The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom
- Topolino’s Terrace at the Riviera Resort (don’t forget to stop at Bar Riva for a quick tropical drink before dinner)
- Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs

Would I feel safe going to Disney today? YES!
Cleanliness has always been an important part of the Disney experience both in parks and resorts. Disney World as well as the Disney Cruise Line are using a Peroxide Multi Surface Cleaner and Disinfectant that is a 3-in-1 multi-purpose spray. This EPA registered product quickly disinfects in 3-5 minutes (kills 99.999% germs) and kills Norovirus in as fast as 45 seconds. Cast members are trained and there is ongoing reinforcement on a regular basis. Disney has always had a strong commitment to the health and safety of their guests and cast members and continues to do so.
With more and more coming back to Walt Disney World, this the perfect time to visit, get away and make those memories we have all been missing!
The magic is here!
